Every year two UT students are elected in a campus-wide election to serve as representatives of the University of Texas student body on the University Co-op Board of Directors. These positions are only for the Co-op Board of Directors, and are not part of The University of Texas student government. This year the positions are open to all full time students at UT Austin. Pre-requisites for Board eligibility include maintaining full-time student status for the two-year term which starts May 2012. These positions share equal responsibility and voting rights with the two students and the four UT faculty members already serving on the Board.
This is a great opportunity for interested students to become actively involved in directing a multi-million dollar business.
