| The Custom Publishing Department was established to meet the growing need for customized print solutions for courses when various materials are unavailable from one source. Our Custom Publishing Department will assemble customized course packets in an effort to keep course material costs low. Faculty may choose selections from multiple textbooks, out-of-print books, Harvard Business School cases, original materials, or other specified sources. Custom Publishing will secure all copyright permission approvals needed for your packet, and create professional custom-bound course material. |
When you submit a Custom Publishing Request Form, the material is scanned, cleaned up, and a proof copy is printed. As soon as the proof packet is approved, the requested number of course packets is printed and put on the Co-op shelves at your class listing. All of our packets are digitally archived for rapid turnaround of reprints. Faculty and their TAs receive free desk copies. |
How to Submit Your Order |

- Download and fill out our Custom Course Packet Form, an editable PDF. Send the form as an attachment with your files, or send original materials with a printed form.
- If you prefer, we will pickup your materials at your campus or department offices. There is no charge for pickup and delivery in Austin. You may also drop off materials at the main Co-op store in the textbook department.
- We accept original printed materials and/or photocopies as well as digital media files.

- Course packets are available alongside textbooks on Co-op shelves.
- There is a 10% rebate on Co-op purchases.
- We provide free pickup and delivery in Austin.
- Copyright permissions are obtained for your packet and included in the cost. There is no charge for this service and copyright permissions are not marked up. Our site licensing for Harvard Business School Publishing allows us to provide the lowest royalty fees available for case studies and articles. These discounts are passed on to students.
- For up-to-date materials, packets may be printed in two or more parts.
- All packets are archived digitally, permitting quick turnaround for reprints.
- We offer a variety of binding choices to create a high-quality, professional textbook for you and your students.
