Regalia
The University requires graduates to wear a traditional
black masters gown, a black mortarboard (cap), and a tassel and velveteen
hood in the color of your degree/college. Please note, the masters gown
is different from the bachelors gown, they may not be used interchangeably.
Students may not rent the masters regalia. Click

hoods and/or tassels may be purchased individually in the store.
In 2010, we began selling a new line of eco-friendly caps and gowns. Each
cap & gown is made of 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles.
The new GreenWeaver caps & gowns produced by Oak Hall Cap & Gown,
are comfortably soft and virtually indistinguishable from traditional
polyester gowns. Each gown is made of fabric spun from molten plastic
pellets. It takes an average of 23 water bottles to make each gown.

The Graduation department offers a variety
of packages to fit every graduate’s needs. Choose from two invitation
styles! All invitations are printed in-house and will be customized with
the graduate’s name, degree, and specific ceremony.

Save 10% off all your future purchases at the University Co-op. When you purchase your regalia and invitations in the same order, you’ll automatically receive a Lifetime Longhorn Membership. Once your receive your Lifetime Longhorn Membership, simply present your card at the time of purchase to receive your discount. Membership cards will be mailed to your address after graduation.
