We are the only Longhorn store that gives all profits to students.

We are not-for-profit and independent since 1896. While many college bookstores are operated by for-profit corporations, the University Co-op is an independent 501 (c)(3). We are operated by a board of directors comprised of students, faculty, and staff of The University of Texas at Austin.
