Traditional Complete Doctoral Rental with Mortarboard
This is a special order item and ships in 4-5 weeks. This item is not eligible for refunds.
Deadline for Doctoral Regalia Rental is March 29, 2024. **Note! The Faculty Loaner regalia does not include a doctoral hood or tam, so if faculty would like these items, they must place a rental order by this date.
The rental return date is May 17, 2024. If rental is not returned by the due date, a fee of $450 will be charged.
PLEASE NOTE: If your alma mater is NOT UT Austin, please put the name of the school in the order comments field before checking out. A UT-Austin hood will be substituted if no alma mater is given.
This traditional doctoral RENTAL will include a black gown with black velvet panels and bars (no cording) and be sized according to height. It will also include a four-corner, flat, mortarboard (cap) with a gold tassel and a hood. This is a complete outfit for any doctorate. Doctoral faculty may choose between two hat styles, the 4-corner mortarboard included in this package (similar to undergraduates), or the velvet tam. This rental regalia may be shipped for an additional shipping surcharge for each rental set, which will include an insured UPS return label to use to return the rental back to the Co-op. If you choose Main Store pick up during check-out (recommended), you will NOT be charged the shipping surcharge. Your order will be ready once it is processed, you should also receive an email notification. If you need your items for a date earlier than the University of Texas at Austin’s Commencement Ceremony dates, please leave us a note in the comments section at checkout. Faculty regalia rentals are non-refundable.
