These two pins are worn to represent the University of Texas as well as the graduate's field of study. Each pin will be placed on the gown's embroidered clock towers. The gold University pin should be worn on the graduate's right breast. The graduate school pin, gold with a colored ring specific to the field of study, should be worn on the left. The pins come in a velvety black pin box, ensuring they have a safe place when not in use. The pin box measures approximately 2 5/8” x 2 5/8” x 1 1/8”. The pins are approximately 3/4” in diameter.
