Meet Cheryl Phifer
We caught up with our CEO to learn a little more about her time at UT and her thoughts on the upcoming football season.
Where did you live when studying at UT?
I lived at Scottish Rite Dormitory my first year here and then moved to West Campus.
What was your major?
What was your favorite memory as a Longhorn student?
Game days. Waiting in line to draw tickets, the energy in the air – everything about them was so fun – and still is!
What were your memories of the Co-op?
The Co-op had EVERYTHING when I was in school here. Textbooks, jewelry, cameras, craft supplies and sundries. It really was the first place to stop when you needed something.
What gets you most excited to be working as president of the Co-op?
I love being able to make a difference by giving back to the students, staff and faculty through our annual student organization funding, awards and internships.
What are you looking forward to most about the upcoming football season?
I can't wait to meet Texas Longhorn fans coming into the store on game day! I'm also excited to be working with UT Student Government on their "Eyes to Eyes" initiative.
