By submitting or posting any User Content, you grant to University Co-op a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to copy, publish, translate, modify, reformat, create derivative works from, distribute, reproduce, display, transmit, publish, broadcast, host, archive, store, cache, use or otherwise exploit all or any portion of the User Content, as well as your name, persona and likeness included in any User Content and your social media account handle, username, real name, profile picture and/or any other information associated with the User Content, in any commercial or noncommercial manner whatsoever, in whole or in part, in any and all distribution channels, forms, media or technology, whether now known or hereafter developed, including but not limited to in stores, printed marketing materials, emails, web pages, social media accounts and for any other marketing, advertising, public relations, sales or promotional purposes with or without attribution and without further notice to you.
Neither you, nor any other person or entity, will have the right to (i) receive any royalty or consideration of any kind for the use of the User Content pursuant to these Terms or (ii) inspect or approve the editorial copy or other material that may be used in connection with the User Content. University Co-op will be free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques contained in such User Content for any purpose whatsoever, including but not limited to developing, manufacturing and marketing products that incorporate or otherwise rely upon such information. University Co-op shall have no obligation to monitor User Content, use or display User Content, compensate you for submitting User Content or respond to any User Content. University Co-op retains the right, in its sole discretion and without prior notice, to remove, revise or refuse to post any User Content for any reason or no reason. Subject to the licenses granted in these Terms, you retain ownership of any copyright and other rights you may have in the User Content.
By submitting or posting User Content on the Site, on your social media accounts or through any tools or applications we provide for posting or sharing your User Content with us, you represent and warrant that (i) you own or control any and all rights in and to the User Content, and the right to grant all of the rights and licenses in these Terms, and if you are not the holder of such rights, the holder of such rights has completely and effectively waived all such rights and irrevocably granted you the right to grant the licenses stated above without the need for payment to you or any other person or entity; (ii) you have obtained permission from any individuals that appear in the User Content to use, and grant others the right to use, their name, image, voice and/or likeness without the need for payment to you or any other person or entity; (iii) you are 18 years of age or older; and (iv) the User Content does not (a) contain false or misleading information, (b) infringe on the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, statutory, contractual or other rights of any third party, (c) contain any libelous, defamatory, obscene, offensive, threatening or otherwise harassing or hateful content, (d) contain any addresses, email addresses, phone numbers or any contact information or (e) contain computer viruses, worms or other harmful files.
Upon request by University Co-op, you will furnish University Co-op any documentation, substantiation or releases necessary to verify your compliance with these Terms. You are solely responsible for the User Content and you hereby agree to indemnify and hold University Co-op and its employees, agents, and affiliates harmless from any and all damages, claims, expenses, costs or fees arising from or in connection with a breach of any of the foregoing representations or your violation of any law or rights of a third party.
University Co-op has the right to remove and or delete without notice any user content within its control that it deems objectionable.

Wincraft and Peter Millar Texas Longhorns Golf Merchandise Package Raffle (“The Raffle”) Terms & Conditions

Promotion Description

The Raffle is administered by The University Cooperative Society (“University Co-op”). One raffle winner will be selected to win one (1) Texas Longhorns Golf Merchandise Package from Wincraft and Peter Millar on Monday, May 12, 2025. Raffle tickets will be available until close of business Sunday, May 11, 2025, after which the winning ticket (and winner) will be randomly selected. Please note, this Raffle does not include shipping costs.

Sales from raffle tickets directly support course material scholarships for students at the University of Texas at Austin.

The University Cooperative Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. Federal tax ID #74-096-0070.

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be at least 18 years old, and live within the contiguous United States. To enter the Raffle, a person must have purchased a Raffle ticket in person and received a ticket, but may enter the drawing with multiple tickets, up to 100 tickets per person. A ticket purchased by an ineligible person is void and cannot be a winning ticket.

Raffle tickets can only be purchased in person in store at the University Co-op at 2246 Guadalupe St., Austin, Texas 78705 for $10 per ticket.

Must purchase a raffle ticket and give a valid email address to be eligible. Providing your email address allows the University Co-op to send you marketing communication. Your information will never be sold or shared, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

University Co-op employees are not eligible to enter.

Official Prize

The prize for this raffle is a Texas Longhorns Golf Merchandise Package valued at $350 and two Peter Millar items valued at $290. This Raffle does not include shipping.

Winner Selection

The raffle will end at close of business Sunday, May 11, 2025, and one (1) winner will be selected on Monday, May 12, 2025 and contacted via email. The winner will have 48 hours to respond, or they will forfeit their prize and a new winner will be selected.

Verification of Winner

All potential winners are subject to verification by the University Co-op, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Raffle. Tickets will be tied to an email address in the University Co-op’s internal customer relationship management system, and selected from those purchases. An entrant is not a winner, unless and until entrant’s eligibility has been verified and entrant has been notified that verification is complete. The University Co-op will not accept photographs or other evidence of winning in lieu of its validation process. Potential winners must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules and winning are contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. The potential winner will be notified by email. If a potential winner of the prize does not respond within 48 hours of delivery of email, such potential winner forfeits the prize. In the event the prize winner is disqualified for any reason, The University Co-op will award the prize to an alternate winner by random drawing among all remaining eligible entries.

Release

By receipt of any prize, winner agrees to release and hold harmless The University Co-op and their respective subsidiary, and affiliate companies, supplies, distributors, and advertising/promotion agencies, as well as each such company's officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Raffle or receipt, use, or misuse of any prize.

Privacy

Except where prohibited, participation in the Raffle constitutes winner’s consent to University Co-op and its agents use of winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinion, and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration. The winner’s name will be announced publicly unless the winner requests in writing that they wish their name to be kept private.

General Conditions

The University Co-op reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Raffle, or any part of it, if any fraud, or other factor beyond the University Co-op’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Raffle, as determined by The University Co-op in its sole discretion. In such event, The University Co-op reserves the right to award the prize at random from among eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. The University Co-op reserves the right, in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual, without compensation, it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Raffle or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Raffle may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, The University Co-op reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. The University Co-op’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. All necessary shipping costs are the responsibility of the winner.

Limitation of Liability

The Released Parties are not liable for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Raffle; (2) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process of the Raffle; (3) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Raffle or the processing of entries; or (4) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Raffle or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. If for any reason an entrant’s entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the Raffle.

Disputes

Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Raffle or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by a state or federal court located in Austin, Texas; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Raffle, but in no event attorney’s fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant claims all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages and any other damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and The University Co-op in connection with the Raffle, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Texas, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Texas or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Texas.

1. DATES OF SWEEPSTAKES:
a. Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01am Central Time (“CT”) on July 30, 2024 and ends at 11:59:59pm CT on - July 1, 2025 (the “Sweepstakes Period”).
 i. At the time of writing these Official Rules, the game time has not been announced.
c. By participating in the Ticket Sweepstakes, each entrant (the “Participant”) unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of The University Co-operative Society (the “Sponsor”), which shall be final and binding in all respects.

2. ELIGIBILITY:
a. Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia or Puerto Rico, who are eighteen (18) years of age or older or the age of majority in their state of residence (which is nineteen (19) in Alabama, Nebraska, twenty-one (21) in Mississippi, and eighteen (18) in all other states) as of the date of entry (the “Entrant”). Void outside of the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law. Officers, directors, managers, and employees of the University Co-op (the “Sponsor), as well as immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each such person (collectively the “Sweepstakes Entities”) are not eligible to participate. “Immediate family member” shall be deemed to mean husband, wife, children, mother, father, sister, sister in-law, brother or brother in-law. Sweepstakes may only be entered in or from the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia or Puerto Rico, and entries originating from any other jurisdiction are not eligible for entry. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

3. HOW TO ENTER:
There is one (1) way to enter:
(i)SURVEY:Entrants must visit the unique survey URL
(the “Survey Website”) found at https://form.asana.com/?k=OAY-Boxg5JJmM2SL4KWdNg&d=12737328289158 to complete the survey. The survey must be completed in its entirety by submitting all answers to the survey questions. The survey must be completed within the Sweepstakes Period.

There is a limit of one (1) entry per Entrant for the entire Sweepstakes Period. Any attempt by an Entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different identities, and/or any other methods will void that Entrant’s entry and that Entrant may be disqualified from the Sweepstakes. Entries submitted by anyone other than the Entrant are void. In case of dispute as to the identity of any Entrant, entry will be declared made by the registered name and address on such entry. Any potential prize winner may be requested to provide Sponsor with proof that such person is the prize winner.

The Sponsor is not responsible for any entry that is lost, late, illegible, stolen, mutilated, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, postage-due, misdirected or undeliverable, whether due to system errors, omissions, interruption, deletions, defects, delay in operations or transmissions, theft or destruction or failures, faulty transmissions or other telecommunications malfunctions, human error, entries not received resulting from any hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, failed, incomplete or garbled computer or telephone transmissions, typographical or system errors and failures, faulty transmissions, technical malfunctions, or otherwise. Only fully completed entries are eligible. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor or Sweepstakes Entity.

4. DRAWING/ODDS.
There will be four (4) drawings on or about the following dates: September 3, 2024, December 2, 2024, March 3, 2025, and June 2, 2025. Potential prize winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received by the Sponsor. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for the Sweepstakes.

To be eligible to receive a prize, all Entrants must have an email address on file with the Sponsor or have provided an email address when prompted at the time of entry. In the event that an Entrant has an incomplete email address, the Entrant will be disqualified and an alternate prize winner will be selected in a random drawing.

5. PRIZES
Four (4) prizes will be awarded, each consisting of a University Co-op gift card in the amount of $250 (each a “Prize”). Total approximate retail value (“ARV”) of all Prizes is $1,000.

6. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS:Limit of one (1) prize per person/household.

All prizes are non-transferable or assigned and no substitutions or cash redemptions; except at Sponsor’s sole discretion or as otherwise provided herein. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prizes. In the case of unavailability of any prize, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All University Co-op gift card terms and conditions apply to the use of the prizes, and are incorporated herein by reference. Each prize winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes, including taxes imposed on his/her income. No more than the stated number of prizes set forth in these Official Rules will be awarded. Potential prize winners consent to the use of his/her name, likeness, biographical information, and voice in advertising worldwide without additional compensation (TN residents will not be required to sign a Publicity Release as a condition of winning a prize).

7. NOTIFICATIONS/CLAIMS
Potential Prize winners will be notified by the Sponsor by email on or about the dates listed under DRAWING/ODDS (the “Notification”). Prize winners must respond to Notification within 5 business days of the Sponsor’s first Notification. In the event the Potential Prize Winner fails to respond to the Notification within 5 business days of the Sponsor’s first Notification to the potential winner or if it is determined by Sponsor and/or Independent Administrator, in their sole discretion, that a potential Prize Winner is not eligible in accordance with these Official Rules, an alternate Prize Winner will be selected at random from among the remaining non-winning eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.

Potential Prize winners winning a Prize will be shipped their Prize within 3 to 6 weeks from the drawing date via the United States Postal Service to the address on file with the Sponsor to the address supplied at the time of entry. In the event the Prize is returned, the address is insufficient or incomplete for shipping purposes, or undeliverable for any reason, the Prize winner will be disqualified and an alternate Prize winner will be selected from the remaining eligible entries received. If the alternate Prize winner’s Prize is returned, the address is insufficient or incomplete for shipping purposes, or undeliverable for any reason, the alternate Prize winner will be disqualified and the Prize will not be awarded.

In the event the Prize winner lives in or is located in the Austin, Texas area, the Prize winner may elect to pick up the Prize from the University Co-op store located on Guadalupe St.

No compensation will be provided for any prizes that are not able to be awarded to a prize winner.

8. CONDITIONS.
This Sweepstakes is conducted in English. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these English Official Rules and the English Abbreviated Rules or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes-related materials, including, but not limited to: any entry form, survey, the Spanish version of these Official Rules and the Abbreviated Rules, and/or point of sale, print or online advertising; the terms and conditions of these English Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the prize winners. By participating in this Sweepstakes, Entrants and prize winners agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final in all respects and not subject to appeal.

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify permanently from this Sweepstakes any Entrant it believes has violated these Official Rules and verify eligibility of Entrants. Neither Sponsor nor anyone acting on its behalf will enter into any communications with any Entrant regarding this Sweepstakes, except as expressly set forth in these Official Rules. By participating in this Sweepstakes, Entrants, and prize winners release the Sponsor and each and all of the Sweepstakes Entities, from any and all liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described) with respect to or arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes, and/or the receipt or use/misuse of any prize awarded, including, without limitation, liability for personal injury, death or property damage. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes. All Sweepstakes materials are subject to verification and are void if (a) not obtained in accordance with these Official Rules and through legitimate channels, (b) any part is counterfeited, altered, defective, damaged, illegible, reproduced, tampered with, mutilated or irregular in any way, (c) are obtained where prohibited, or (d) they contain printing, typographical, mechanical, or other errors. Entrants assume all risk of loss, damage, destruction, delay or misdirection of Sweepstakes materials submitted to Sponsor.

In the event any portion of this Sweepstakes is compromised by activities beyond the control of the Sponsor which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Sweepstakes or this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to modify, suspend or terminate the Sweepstakes.

Sponsor may prohibit an Entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said Entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, deception, or other unfair playing practices (including the use of automated quick entry programs) or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other Entrants, or Sponsor. If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not able to be conducted as planned, including, but not limited to, by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, then Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes and randomly draw from those entries received up to the cancellation/suspension date to award prizes.

9. NO LIABILITY
By participating, Entrants and prize winners agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claims made by any Entrant, prize winner, or any other third parties, related in any way to the operation of this Sweepstakes as well as any other claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from receipt, acceptance, possession, misuse or use of a prize or participation in any promotion related activity or participation in this Sweepstakes.

10. USE OF DATA
Sponsor will be collecting personal data about Entrants online, in accordance with its Privacy Notice. By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrants hereby agree to Sponsor’s collection and usage of their personal information and acknowledge that they have read and accepted Sponsor’s Privacy Notice.

Employees, contractors, officers and directors of Sponsor, its affiliates, parent companies, subsidiaries, divisions, suppliers, distributors and advertising, promotional and judging agencies, any third-party prize provider(s) and/or prize fulfillment service (collectively, the “Sweepstakes Entities”); members of the immediate families (spouse and biological, adoptive or step-parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren and siblings, and each of their respective spouses regardless of where they reside) or households (whether related or not) of any of the above individuals are not eligible to participate in the UT26 Textbook Sweepstakes or win the prize. 
    3. Any person who has won a prize (or whose household has won a prize) in any promotion sponsored by Sponsor in the thirty (30) days prior to the UT26 Textbook Sweepstakes start date is not eligible to win a prize in this Sweepstakes.

        1. An eligible Participant will automatically receive one entry (each an “Entry into the Textbook Sweepstakes when they give their email address (the “Participant Information”). If by reason of any problem, whether mechanical, technical, due to human error or omission or other means, was not completed or the Participant Information was not recorded, no Entry will be recorded.  
    3. Limits 
      1. There is a limit of one Entry per Participant. Any subsequent Entry(ies) will be disqualified.

      2. Participants my not share an email address with any other Participant for purposes of entering the Textbook Sweepstakes. Should multiple users of the same e-mail account or mobile phone number, as applicable, enter the Sweepstakes and a dispute thereafter arise regarding the identity of the entrant, the authorized account holder of said e-mail account or mobile phone account at the time of entry will be considered the entrant. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address or mobile phone number by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, telephone service provider or other organization which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses, phone numbers or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Proof of submission of an entry shall not be deemed proof of submission or receipt by the Sponsor for online entries. When applicable, the Sponsor’s computer will be deemed the official time keeping device for the UT26 Textbook Sweepstakes. Entries will be disqualified if incomplete and/or if prohibited multiple entries in excess of the stated limit are received at the Sponsor’s sole discretion.. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. 
    5. Released Parties 
      1. The Sweepstakes Entities and any applicable third-party fulfillment service and each of their respective employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) are not responsible for lost, late, undeliverable, illegible, damaged, stolen, misdirected, mutilated, or incomplete entries, regardless of cause. 
    6. By participating, you agree 
      1. to be bound by these Official Sweepstakes Rules; 
      2. as between you and the Sponsor, that the decisions of the Sponsor is final on all matters relating to the Textbook Sweepstakes; 
      3. you are not participating on behalf of any employer or third-party; 
      4. in the event that you do not comply with these Rules, that you will be disqualified and your prize (if any) will be forfeited; 
      5. (when applicable) the potential winner and/or finalist must be available to participate in any portion to the Sweepstakes that participation may be required to be considered eligible; and 
      6. providing your email allows University Co-op to send you marketing communications. Your information will never be sold or shared, and you may unsubscribe at any time. 
  4. WINNER SELECTION 
    1. The Sponsor will randomly select potential Textbook Sweepstakes winner(s) from among all eligible entries collectively received during the Entry Period as defined per Official Rules. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received. 
      1. Winner(s) will be selected and notified 8/13/22 
      2. If the winner is unable to attend the Event, any prize will be forfeited and another winner will be selected. 
    2. Potential Sweepstakes winner(s) is subject to verification, including verification of eligibility. If an entrant is unable to verify his/her information, the entrant will automatically be disqualified and their prize, if any, will be forfeited. The Sponsor reserves the right to determine an alternate winner in accordance with these Official Rules in the event that that any winner is disqualified, cannot be contacted, or is deemed ineligible for any reason, or is not available to participate in any applicable Sweepstakes events. 
    3. The potential winner will be notified by email at the email address provided during Entry. THE SPONSOR WILL EMAIL THE POTENTIAL WINNER 1 TIME WITHIN A 12 HOUR TIME SPAN. THE POTENTIAL WINNER MUST RESPOND TO THE EMAIL. IF THE POTENTIAL WINNER DOES NOT REPLY TO THE EMAIL WITHIN 12 HOURS OF IT BEING SENT, THE POTENTIAL WINNER WILL BE DISQUALIFIED, AND SPONSOR WILL RANDOMLY SELECT THE NEXT POTENTIAL WINNER, WHO WILL ALSO BE NOTIFIED IN THE SAME METHOD ON THE SAME DAY. Notification is deemed to have occurred immediately upon sending email. The Sponsor is not responsible for any change of email address, mailing address, and/or telephone number of entrants. The Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, misdirected or unsuccessful efforts to notify a finalist and/or potential winner(s), or (if the finalist or potential winner is a minor) for late, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts of the entrant to provide signed parental or guardian consent. If the potential winner does not claim the prize within the appropriate time given upon, the entrant will automatically be disqualified, and their prize will be forfeited. 
    4. As a condition of participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree and acknowledge that in order to receive a prize and be deemed a winner, entrants must sign an official waiver form provided by the Sponsor and agree to the terms herein, including but not limited to the prize conditions. If eligible entrants include minors, a parent or guardian of such eligible minor must sign a release on behalf of the minor to be eligible to receive a prize, but the Sponsor reserves the right to refuse to award a prize to or on behalf of any minor. The potential prize winner and, if a potential prize winner who is an eligible minor in his/her state of residence, the potential prize winner's parent or guardian, may (in Sponsor’s sole discretion) be required to sign and return a declaration of eligibility and any other form necessary to verify eligibility, along with the required releases within twenty four hours after the first delivery attempt to entrants e-mail address in order for the potential prize winner to be qualified for the prize, unless otherwise stated herein or at the time of notification.     2. Prizes Provided By: University Co-operative Society and occasionally affiliates. 
    3. No more than the advertised number of prizes shall be awarded. The prize is subject to certain terms and conditions as specified herein. A prize may not be sold, traded, or commissioned, and is not exchangeable, transferable, substitutable, or redeemable for cash except in Sponsor's sole discretion. Prize details and availability are subject to change. Sponsor is not the supplier or guarantor of any prize, unless otherwise specified. Prizing may be fulfilled by a third-party fulfillment Sponsor. The prize will only be awarded if properly claimed according to the Rules. All costs and expenses related to the prize acceptance, the prize, and/or prize use not specified herein as being provided are the sole responsibility of winner(s). 
    4. Odds of Winning: The odds of winning the prize depend on the number of eligible entries received.  
    5. The Sponsor is not responsible for any delay, cancellation or rescheduling of any event and no substitution or compensation shall be awarded. Sponsor reserves the right to not award the prize associated with canceled events, meet & greets, and/or games, without any payment or obligation to the winner or potential winner. Any provided UT26 Textbooks are subject to certain terms and conditions specified thereon. Location of seats and UT26 Textbooks are in Sponsor’s sole discretion or may be predetermined as supplied by the Sponsor. The Sponsor reserves the right, but is not required, to substitute a prize, in whole or in part, with another prize (or prize component) of equal or greater value or alternatively may substitute such prize with a comparable prize (or prize component) of like per the Sponsor’s discretion, if for any reason a prize, or any portion thereof, as described herein should become unavailable. The winner and guests agree to comply with all applicable venue regulations in connection with the meet & greet, game and/or other Sweepstakes prize events. Sponsor and the applicable venue representatives reserve the right to remove or to deny entry to winner (and his/her guest) who engage in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at the greet & meet, game and/or other Sweepstakes prize event or in any other objectionable behavior. If, after a prize has been selected and UT26 Textboong has been completed, event is cancelled, such portions of the prize will be forfeited, and the Sponsor shall have no further obligation to winner. Winner(s) must present state authorized identification prior to being awarded the prize. If actual value of the prize is less than the stated ARV, or the winner and/or if applicable, his/her guest(s) and/or eligible travel companion(s) forfeit, do not use, or are determined ineligible for any portion of the prize, the winner will not receive the difference between the actual and approximate retail value, and such difference will be forfeited. 
    6. Conditions and restrictions may apply. Limit: One (1) prize per person/household. ALL PRIZES ARE AWARDED “AS IS” AND THE SPONSOR DOES NOT MAKE (AND IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR) ANY REPRESENTATIONS, GUARANTEES, OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN FACT OR IN LAW, RELATING TO ANY PRIZE (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE), AND ALL SUCH WARRANTIES ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED. 
  6. TAMPERING AND DELIVERY DISCLAIMER 
    1. The Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify and prohibit from participating (and void such person’s entries) any person, who the Sponsor determines (in its sole discretion) is or is attempting to: 
      1. tamper with the Sponsor’s website and/or any part of the Sweepstakes; 
      2. undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, deception, or other unfair playing practices, 
      3. or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants, the Sponsor, or the Released Parties or exhibits other unsportsmanlike behavior; and/or 
      4. otherwise violate these Official Rules or the Terms of Use of the Sponsor’s Website. 
    2. ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE, CIRCUMVENT, OR DISRUPT THE SPONSOR’S WEBSITE (OR ANY PART THEREOF) OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD ANY SUCH ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR AND ITS LICENSEES (IF ANY) RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND ANY OTHER AVAILABLE REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY SUCH ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. EACH ENTRANT (OR, IF THE ENTRANT IS NOT OF AGE OF MAJORITY IN HIS/HER STATE OF RESIDENCE, THE LEGAL GUARDIANS THEREOF) AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS THE SPONSOR AND ITS AGENTS FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, LOSSES, DAMAGES AND/OR LIABILITIES (INCLUDING REASONABLE ATTORNEYS' FEES AND EXPENSES) THAT MAY BE ASSERTED AGAINST OR INCURRED BY ANY OF THEM AT ANY TIME, IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE THEREOF, AND/OR BY ENTRANT’S BREACH OF ANY REPRESENTATION, WARRANTY OR COVENANTS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SWEEPSTAKES. The use of any automated device, automated launching or entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that permits the entrant to automatically enter or evaluate repeatedly is prohibited. The Sponsor disclaims all liability for any delays, misdelivery, loss, or failure in the delivery of any item sent by mail, courier, express, electronic transmission, or other delivery method. 
    3. Released Parties are not responsible for: 
      1. mechanical, technical, electronic, communications, telephone, computer, hardware or software errors, malfunctions or failures of any kind, including: failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed transmission of online entries, traffic congestion on telephone lines, the Internet or at any website or lost or unavailable network connections which may limit an online entrant's ability to participate in the Sweepstakes; 
      2. any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in or downloading any information necessary to participate in the Sweepstakes; 
      3. any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; 
      4. technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; 
      5. unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or operation of the Sweepstakes; or 
      6. technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries. 
    4. The Sponsor further reserves the right to: 
      1. cancel, terminate, suspend, declare null or void, amend, alter, or modify the Sweepstakes, void any suspicious entries, rescind any prize, and/or determine absolute resolution, and/or an alternate method of conducting the Sweepstakes and/or awarding the prize(s) at any time, for any reason, or if, in the sole discretion of the Sponsor, it is impossible or impractical to complete or conduct the Sweepstakes as planned for any reason, including, but not limited to, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures of any sort, programming associated with or used in the Sweepstakes, by any human error which may occur in the execution of this Sweepstakes, or any other causes which effect the operation of the Sweepstakes or the rules of the integrity of the Sweepstakes have been violated or compromised in any way, intentionally or unintentionally by any person whether or not a entrant in the Sweepstakes and/or 
      2. stop or conclude the Sweepstakes at any time without prior notice. Material changes to the Official Rules will be announced via Sweepstakes platform, when practical. In the event of termination of the Sweepstakes by Sponsor, Sponsor reserves the right to award any prize(s) in a manner deemed fair and equitable by Sponsor. 
  7. PUBLICITY 
    1. Except where prohibited, by accepting a prize, winner(s) grant the Sponsor and permission to use their names, characters, images, voices, and likenesses worldwide, in perpetuity, in any and all media now known or hereinafter invented in any and all marketing and promotional materials and waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration for such use. Each winner’s name may be included in a publicly available winners list. 
  8. USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION 
    1. The Sponsor will retain the entrant's personal data for a reasonable period of time to enable it to send that entrant any prize that they have won and to verify that these Official Rules have been complied with, and for accounting purposes. This data may be passed to a third-party to enable such third-party to fulfill any necessary requirements relating to the award of a prize. Any other use of personal data will be in accordance with, and subject to, the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy located here. Registration in the Contest automatically consents to opt-in to receive University Co-op emails and emails from third-parties associated with the Sweepstakes. Entrant understands and acknowledges that his/her information will be provided to such third-party and may be used by the third-party as set forth in the third-party’s privacy policy.  
  9. RELEASES, CONDITIONS, AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY 
    1. By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees to release and waive any and all claims of liability against the Released Parties from and against from any and all liability, loss or damage (including personal injury) incurred with respect to the conduct of or participation in the Sweepstakes, or the awarding, shipping/handling, receipt, possession, and/or use or misuse of any prize, including any travel related thereto. By accepting the prize, winner(s) hereby agrees that: 
      1. to release each of the Released Parties from any and all claims in connection with the Sweepstakes and the award or use of the prizes; and 
      2. where allowed by law, sign a publicity release confirming consent to use the winner’s name/likeness as set forth in Section 6 prior to acceptance of the prize. The Released Parties are not responsible or liable to any entrant or winner or any person claiming through such entrant or winner for failure to supply the prize or any part thereof, by reason of any acts of God, any action, regulation, order or request by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity (whether or not the action, regulations, order or request proves to be invalid), equipment failure, threatened terrorist acts, terrorist acts, air raid, blackout, act of public enemy, earthquake, volcanic eruption, war (declared or undeclared), fire, flood, epidemic, explosion, unusually severe weather, hurricane, embargo, labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal) labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow-down, civil disturbance, insurrection, riot, or any other cause beyond the Sweepstakes Entities’ sole control. Upon awarding the prize, the Sponsor will have no further obligation to winner. 
  10. TAXES 
    1. Any valuation of the prize(s) stated above is based on available information provided to the Sponsor, and the value of any prize awarded to a winner may be reported to the IRS as required by law. Each winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, related to prize acceptance and use not specified herein. Each winner must provide the Sponsor with valid identification and a valid taxpayer identification number or social security number before any prize will be awarded. Any person winning over $600 in prizes from the Sponsor in a calendar year will be issued an IRS Form 1099 reporting the value of those prizes to the IRS. 
  11. CONDUCT AND DECISIONS 
    1. All decisions of the Sponsor will be final and binding on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Persons who violate any rule, gain unfair advantage in participating in the Sweepstakes, or obtain winner status using fraudulent means will be disqualified. The Sponsor will interpret these Rules and resolve any disputes, conflicting claims or ambiguities concerning the rules or the Sweepstakes and the Sponsor’s decisions concerning such disputes shall be final. If, for any reason, more bona fide winners are notified than prize(s) available, prize(s) will be awarded in a random drawing from among all such persons. Inclusion in such drawing shall be each entrant's sole and exclusive remedy under such circumstances. Any reference in these Official Rules or as part of the Sweepstakes to the Sponsor’s and/or Station’s "discretion" and/or any exercise of discretion by the Sponsor or Station shall mean in Sponsor’s and/or Station’s "sole and unfettered discretion." The Sponsor further reserves the right to terminate the Sweepstakes if in its sole judgment, the rules or the integrity of the Sweepstakes have been violated or compromised in any way, intentionally or unintentionally by any person whether or not a entrant in the Sweepstakes. In the event the Sweepstakes is terminated, Sponsor will award the prize(s) in a random drawing from all eligible entries received prior to termination. If applicable material changes to the Sweepstakes rules will be broadcast on-air and available on-line at the Station’s website, when practical. The Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of this provision. 
  12. DISPUTES / CHOICE OF LAW 
    1. All disputes, claims and causes of action (each a “Claim”) arising out of or relating to the Contest, the meaning or interpretation of the Official Rules or any prize shall be resolved by applying the laws of Texas, without regard to conflict of law’s provisions therein. All Claims shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event include attorneys’ fees, and under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain awards for and hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, special and consequential damages. 
  13. MISCELLANEOUS 
    1. Sponsor reserves the right to determine eligibility should special circumstances arise, all decisions are considered final and binding. Sponsor disclaims any responsibility to notify entrants of any aspect related to the conduct of the Sweepstakes. As a condition of participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree (and agree to confirm in writing) that: 
      1. under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain costs, judgments, or awards for, and entrant hereby knowingly and expressly waives all rights to claim or seek punitive, incidental, consequential, special, or any other damages, other than for actual, third-party out-of-pocket expenses, and in such limitation, entrant further waives any rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased; 
      2. any and all disputes, claims, or causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, through binding arbitration as set forth above, without resort to any form of class action; and 
      3. any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred (if any), excluding attorneys’ fees and court costs. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitations or exclusion of liability, so the above may not apply to every entrant. Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of these Official Rules. Winning a prize is contingent upon entrant’s fulfillment of all requirements set forth herein. 
  14. COMPLIANCE WITH LAW AND GOVERNING LAW 
    1. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the UT26 Textbook Sweepstakes Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and Sponsor in connection with the UT26 Textbook Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Texas, U.S.A., without giving effect to the conflict of laws rules thereof, and any matters or proceedings which are not subject to arbitration as set forth in Section 12 of these Official Rules and/or for entering any judgment on an arbitration award, shall take place in the State of Texas, in the City of Austin.
