How To Wear Your Cap and Gown

Graduation is one of the most exciting events to mark the end of your time at UT Austin, and a landmark ceremony in any student's life. However, it can also be a stressful time with many gatherings and outfits to plan out. We've made a simple dressing guide to smooth out any bumps in the road and ensure that you know exactly how to wear your cap and gown on your special day!

The first video is for our undergraduates! Check out this video to see how to wear your cap and gown when receiving your bachelor's degree.

If you're a student in one of UT's many masters' program, this next video is for you! Remember to purchase all of the items in your graduation package since it looks slightly different from the undergraduate items.

Last but certainly not least, we have doctoral regalia! Take note of which pin goes on which side of the robe as mentioned in the video!
